DESERT CHALLENGE GAMES

Raphael Botsyo Nkegbe & Maclean Atsu Dzidzienyo are getting ready to return home to Ghana after participating in the Desert Challenge Games in Phoenix Arizona this past week.

Our congratulations to them both for qualifying for the world championship in London next month.

Raphael will be taking home a silver and a bronze medal in the men'sT54 1500m and 200m respectively, while Maclean also won two bronze medals in the men's T53 category 100m and 1500m

Raphael:

100m time was 15:77

(he set a new time of 15:24 seconds)

200m time was 27:00

1500m was 3:32:22

Maclean:

100m time was 16:26

(he has set a new national record of 16:24 seconds in 100m In the T 53 category)

200m time was 29:29
