Go Get Dem Wheelchair Racing Club is made up of a dedicated group of individuals working to improve the lives of disabled persons, especially the disabled youth in rural areas using sports as a tool to create opportunities that will empower them to live fulfilling lives.

ADVISORS
Raphael is a three time Paralympian for Ghana. He won a silver medal in last years All African Games in Congo Brazzaville and more recently won a gold medal in the the 200m in the IPC Desert challenge games in the USA. He is a role model for most para-athletes in Ghana and he is also the founder and chairman for the GOGETDEM WHEELCHAIR RACING CLUB.
Yetsa Tuakli-Wosornu, MD, MPH is a member of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) medical committee, a track and field athlete representing Ghana, and a Harvard-trained physician. She and the 8-member IPC medical committee provide medical leadership to the 160 countries participating in Paralympic sport, including the Paralympic Games. For her IPC work, the Sports Writer’s Association of Ghana named Dr. Tuakli-Wosornu 2014’s “best sports physician.”
ATHLETES
Maclean is one of the up and coming athletes who has proven that he has all it takes to make Ghana proud. He is a two time gold medalist in the OCC Marathon in south Africa.He recently won three gold medals in the IPC Desert challenge games in the USA and has hope of qualifying in future Paralympics. Yakubu is another up and coming long distance para-athlete in Ghana. He was one of the athletes who represented Ghana in the 2015 All African Games. He also won a bronze medal in the 2015 OCC Marathon in south Africa and more recently participated in the 2016 Seoul International Marathon in the Republic of Korea.
Ayishetu is one of the female wheelchair racers in Ghana who excels in long distance. She won a gold medal in the 42.2km Marathon in South Africa in 2015 and shows great potential with consistent performances. She is currently studying at the Polytechnic in Tamale.
